The art I'm creating is a summation of the things I find wonder in and around.  It could be a cast gaze, a posture, or specific colors, but it is most important a feeling.   Much of my work is of the animal kingdom- nature portraits so to speak.  I find animals to hold something divine and spiritual within them, and to be in their presence is to be invited into a sacred moment.  Coupling their sheer magnificence with the wisdom I sense from an animal encounter is so alluring for me and it is these moments that feed my soul and gift me a reverence and awe rarely experienced anywhere else.  These are the things that compel me to paint.

   

The messages I receive from animals of freedom and courage light me up and my desire is to convey these same messages in my art.... and out to you.  I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
